"Karen was the catalyst for an incredible afternoon where we thought critically about how to write informatively and argumentatively. Her work with non-fiction and scientific thinking was thought-provoking, engaging, and INFORMATIVE. Exactly what we needed.”

"I was beyond impressed by how quickly our teachers gravitated to Karen's expertise and recommendations. One of our teachers, in fact, did a non-fiction doodle text each and every day. Her notebook was a piece of art and I loved it."

"Karen’s form of informational writing allows the most struggling student to feel like they can be a thriving writer. Now that I’ve been introduced to this type of writing I never want to go back to paragraph essays, too boring!”

“I’ve been using Karen’s technique in my tutoring sessions and I can see a definite heightening in student interest in writing.”
